Is Strome going to make this team this year or what? I've been waiting on him in my Dynasty draft for 2 years and was hoping this would be the year. It's hard to find Islanders training camp info out there so any insights would be appreciated.

Good to see Reinhart getting in another game. He's quietly made a lot more good plays than bad so far in preseason...might as well keep throwing him out there.

Also, I think after some more development and refinement, Mayfield will turn out as advertised. just in the little I've seen, it seems like he's strong enough to win battles for pucks, and smart enough to know where to be to block shots.

he will play with the isles this season...it might not be to start the season but at some point this season he will get in

Personally, I thought he was the third-best player on his line of three rookies fighting to make the team last game. Not that he was bad at all...he clearly has skill...but I liked the games Nelson and Lee brought more. Should be a good battle through the rest of preseason.

Interesting, thanks for that. Seeing Bouchard skating beside Tavares and Moulson just seems like a waste.......that would be a great spot for Strome to excel and test his game.

At first glance I was upset too,
But he is flying out there, and looked great so I think they believe he's ready for the season

He did for sure. Donovan will make the team over him though. Reinhart very young and Donovan has paid his dues in Bport. Time to give the kid a shot at the NHL.
